Iam a student ,I have a question that today many oracle software can download from oracle.com ,how oracle made Profit ？
Well, you can download the software and sometimes the use of the products is free: like Oracle XE database or JDeveloper (except the ADF parts). But most of the software you can download, you need runtime licences for and that's the point...
